Speed ​​and impairment factors in fatal motorcycle crash, Henderson police say

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Henderson police believe speed and impairment are factors in a fatal motorcycle crash.

On Wednesday, officers responded to Emden Drive and Sunset View Avenue around 6:43 p.m

The motorcyclist was driving a 2021 Harley-Davidson on Mariposa towards Emden. According to police, the driver left the road for unknown reasons.

The driver died at the scene of the accident.

Police believe speed and impairment are factors. Police closed traffic for about four hours while the investigation took place.

“As this is an ongoing and ongoing investigation, no further details will be released at this time,” police said. “The name of the deceased will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office upon notification of next of kin.”
