A Covington man has been arrested and accused of downloading hundreds of child sexual abuse videos

One person was arrested after the Garfield County Sheriff's Office Internet Crimes Against Children Unit received a cyber tip from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

Officers were told the suspect downloaded child sexual abuse material at a home in Covington.

Investigators served a search warrant at the home near First and Madison streets where they met with Zachary Young.

According to investigators, he admitted to downloading about 500 videos containing child sexual abuse material.

He also said that there were photos along with the videos and admitted to looking at the content.

The electronic devices were seized from the home and Young was arrested.

He was booked into the Garfield County Detention Center on the following charges:

  • Downloading child sexual abuse material
  • Possession of child sexual abuse material
  • Using computer access to violate statues in Oklahoma
