10 teenagers arrested in connection with vandalism attack at school in Antelope

Ten Sacramento-area teenagers have been arrested in connection with more than 100 crimes related to vandalism at Antelope Crossing Middle School, the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office said. The sheriff's office said the school suffered nearly $100,000 in property damage from multiple break-ins and vandalism between April 19 and July 31. The sheriff's office received six criminal reports during that time period. According to the sheriff's office, an investigation took place that included witness interviews and review of hundreds of hours of footage. Investigators identified 12 juvenile suspects involved in crimes against the school, resulting in 106 felony charges. These included 56 counts of burglary, 35 counts of conspiracy, 11 counts of vandalism, one count of reckless possession of a destructive device and one count of intent to intimidate with a destructive device. Ten of the juveniles were arrested Thursday and taken to the Sacramento County Juvenile Detention Center, the sheriff's office said. According to the sheriff's office, all of those arrested were teenagers. Two of the teenagers have yet to be found.
