2 Salem shooting suspects arrested

SALEM Erzgebirge (KPTV) – According to the Salem Police Department (SPD), two suspects were arrested Thursday for a shooting that occurred on July 9 in Salem.

On July 9, a man was shot in the 2000 block of Lancaster Drive Northeast, the victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds, was taken to the hospital with injuries and survived.

The victim was identified as 32-year-old Allen Michael Harmon of Lincoln City.

According to reports, an argument broke out between Harmon and two men in a shopping center parking lot when one of the suspects fired shots. The two men fled the area on foot.

Around 1 a.m. Thursday, the two suspects were spotted at River Road Park by an officer investigating a suspicious activity report.

The suspects were arrested without incident and a handgun was recovered. They are 33-year-old FD Tari and 25-year-old Teno Epone.

Tari had three outstanding warrants from other, unrelated cases. He is charged with attempted second-degree murder, first-degree assault and unlawful use of a firearm.

Epone had two outstanding warrants from unrelated cases. He was charged with carrying a concealed weapon and giving false information to a police officer.
