Nikki Garcia gets a restraining order against Artem Chigvintsev and reveals fight details

Nikki Bella (aka Garcia) was granted a restraining order against her estranged husband Artem Chigvintsev, and she went into detail about the alleged physical altercation that led to his arrest.

The Post can confirm that Bella, 40, submitted her petition on Monday.

In her filing, obtained by TMZ, the “WWE Divas” alum claimed that Artem “assaulted me multiple times and pinned me to the ground while our child was present.”

Bella claimed Artem had been “getting angrier, snapping at me and screaming” since he found out he had been eliminated from Dancing with the Stars. On the morning of his arrest, which came just days after their second wedding anniversary, she claimed he gloated over the way she toasted her four-year-old son's English muffin and blamed her for the toddler being a “picky eater.” be.

Bella admitted that she threw her son's shoes at Artem, hitting his leg, which allegedly caused the dance professional to grab her child and run upstairs while the baby screamed, “Mommy! Mommy!” Mama!”

Bella claimed that when she tried to get into the room, Artem opened the door and threw her to the floor. She claimed he grabbed her arms and held her for an estimated 30 seconds.

In the documents, Bella said Artem went back into the room with her child and closed the door. When she tried to gain entry again, he allegedly pushed her across the hallway into her master bedroom.

The ex-WWE star claimed that their alleged argument escalated from there.

Bella claimed Artem forced her onto the bathroom floor and began pressing on her breast near her sternum. She said she felt like she was suffocating and grabbed his neck to try to get him off her.

Before his arrest, Artem called 911 to report a “medical emergency” at the couple's home and told officers that his wife had thrown a shoe at him.

In her request for a restraining order, Bella claimed that when police arrived at the scene, her son told them: “Daddy hurt my hand.”

According to the reality star, this wasn't the first time Artem was allegedly violent with her.

Bella said that her now-estranged husband “forcibly grabbed me around my waist” in mid-2023 to keep her away from their child. She also claimed that Artem insulted her several times.

The ex-wrestler said she doesn't want her son to grow up in a turbulent environment like her and believes Artem needs therapy and anger management.

TMZ reported that the judge signed the restraining order, preventing Artem from contacting Bella or her child. He is also prohibited from coming within 100 meters of them or their home unless it is for visitation purposes or court-ordered visits.

A hearing is scheduled for October 21st.

Bella filed for divorce on September 11th and requested sole custody of their son. Artem responded with a request for joint custody and spousal support.

The divorce proceedings are not yet completed.
