4 people arrested in connection with tobacco store break-ins, Volusia deputies say – WFTV

DELTONA, Fla. – Four people accused of breaking into several smoke shops are now behind bars, the Volusia Sheriff's Office said Thursday.

Investigators said they stopped the group before they could get to a smokehouse in Deltona on Tuesday.

Officers had obtained an arrest warrant for a silver Nissan Altima from St. John's County earlier that morning in connection with a break-in at a smoke shop.

According to the sheriff's office, the car matched one linked to burglaries at smoke shops in St. John Counties and Ormond Beach.

Officers said they stopped the car and saw e-cigarettes, gloves and a mask inside the vehicle.
