Billie Eilish's Mom Addresses Viral 'Friends' Clips and Nepo Baby Comments

If you think Billie Eilish is a “Nepo baby”, think again – the star's mother is here to put an end to these comments.

Eilish's mother, Maggie Baird, appears in Shine magazine published for their “Women of the Year” issue Beyonce' & As long as Knowles' mother), Donna Kelce (Travis Kelce's mother) and Mandy Teefey (Selena Gomez's mother) and talked about raising Billie and Finneas O'Connell. During the interview, Baird was asked about her performance Friends Since the clip recently resurfaced online, she's been playing a casting director for Joey Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc's character).

Maggie explained the clip: “I think it’s hilarious. Because that came out and it was like, 'Oh, Billie's a Nepo baby.' And I'm like, “Did you know I have this episode of it?” Friends because I was about to lose my health insurance?'

Baird continued: “My husband and I are working-class actors. Our livelihood was meager and we were able to spend a lot of time with our children, which was great. But the industry is primarily made up of people like us, or even people.” Not even like us, who couldn’t do any of that. When this all happened to our kids, I think we've never been creative on that side and they work and they fight and they live perfectly happy lives and they feel creative and they feel fulfilled. But that's a completely different life than on this side of the door, where you're suddenly playing in a different arena.
