Nikki Garcia filed a restraining order against Artem Chigvintsev in the divorce and describes the incident that led to his arrest

The 40-year-old former WWE star filed for a restraining order earlier this week along with an affidavit detailing alleged abuse she suffered at the hands of the 42-year-old professional dancer, and her request was granted, according to TMZ.

According to the publication, Nikki says he “assaulted me multiple times and pinned me to the ground while our child was present.”

In her petition, she claims that after he was eliminated from “Dancing With the Stars,” he “became increasingly angry, snapping and yelling at me” and they discussed how he needed to control his anger.

On the morning of the incident that led to his arrest, he reportedly lashed out at her about their son Matteo and wanted his English muffin toasted a certain way. Artem screamed about how she made Matteo a “picky eater.”
