Hagerstown police are charging a local man with gun and drug charges

According to authorities, he owned two handguns.

Hagerstown, Md (KM) A Hagerstown man is facing gun and drug charges. Caden Taylor, 21, was taken into custody on Saturday, September 28th. He is charged with four drug offenses and 15 firearms offenses.

Police say they attempted to stop a man on a bicycle in the area of ​​East Washington Street and Cannon Avenue. He threw away a loaded pistol and then fled on foot. He was arrested by officers.

According to authorities, a second loaded handgun was found on Taylor during a search related to the arrest. Officers also seized more than 740 pressed fentanyl tablets and cash.

Taylor was taken into custody.

He is currently being held without bail.
