In the video, Aditya shows his disbelief as he points at the tiny intruder hiding in his laptop. “This ant invaded my laptop screen!” He captioned the video.

He runs his finger across the surface to show that the ant is actually trapped in the display.

How did it happen?

The unusual incident left many viewers wondering how the ant got into the laptop.

A person named Akash Manohar theorized that an ant egg somehow ended up on the screen during the manufacturing process.

“Most likely it didn’t make it to the screen. This insect is most likely an egg that was in the sieve during production. The heat generated while using the laptop helped it hatch,” Akash wrote. “I had the same problem around 2020. I had to fight with Apple support in India to get the screen replaced for free. They tried to blame me,” he revealed.

However, Aditya dismissed this theory and said that he has had the laptop for four years and it is unlikely that an egg would last that long. Instead, he said, an ant must have entered the screen via the charging port or another cavity.

“I noticed these tiny ants on my desk, so it could be that they came up from the charging port cavity or some other entry point into the hardware,” he said.

Reactions on social media

The video caused great amusement on the platform. One person called it a “free dynamic wallpaper.”

“Hit it with the cursor!” another suggested. “I've heard websites and code are broken, but this is next level,” one user joked.

Several people said they had experienced similar incidents where bugs entered their devices.
