Leaked photos on social media show that Starbucks will soon be releasing some new drinks inspired by the upcoming movie musical “Wicked.”

According to Wicked News Hub, these are the two drinks coming soon to the coffee chain:

Elphaba's green elixir – “This exciting creation features Starbucks Cold Brew sweetened with peppermint syrup, topped with silky-smooth, dairy-free matcha cream cold foam and colorful candy sprinkles for a touch of magic.”
Glinda's pink potion – “This fantastic creation consists of a hand-shaken mango dragon fruit refresher with creamy coconut milk, ice and a scoop of real dragon fruit. Topped with silky-smooth, dairy-free strawberry cream cold foam and colorful candy sprinkles for a touch of magic.”

When will the Starbucks “Wicked” be released? Has Starbucks confirmed the launch?

Rumor has it that the Glinda and Elphaba-themed drinks will be released on October 22nd, exactly a month before the film adaptation hits theaters.

As of October 3rd, Starbucks has not confirmed the launch of Wicked. However, some Wicked-themed toppings for the drinks can be seen in social media photos.

Visit Oz in Orlando: New “Wicked” Experience at Universal Orlando

Universal Orlando is transforming its former UNIVRS store, along with several adjacent retail locations, into “Wicked: The Experience.” Officials describe the new event as an entry into the world of Wicked, offering fans immersive and unique experiences.

“This exclusive, one-of-a-kind experience will take guests along the yellow brick road and to a variety of iconic Wicked locations from Shiz University to the Emerald City,” Universal officials said in a press release.

They note that the film's costumes and props will also be on display to help park visitors “immerse themselves in spectacular scenes and themes that recreate some of the film's most unforgettable moments.”

The Wicked event opens at the end of October. An end date for the experience has not been announced, but it is expected to extend beyond the film's premiere in late November. While the experience itself doesn't cost any extra money, it takes place at the Universal Studios theme park, so you'll need a ticket.

What is “Wicked” about? Who does Ariana Grande play?

Based on Gregory Maguire's acclaimed 1995 novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, it attempts to reimagine the land of Oz.

According to the New York Theater Guide, the show is about two young witches: Elphaba, whose skin is green, and Glinda, who is blonde and beautiful.

“At first they don't like each other, but soon they develop an unusual bond. The musical follows them since their childhood friendship and explains how Elphaba became the evil witch and Glinda the good witch,” explains the tour guide.

As for the leading actress from Florida, Ariana Grande plays the role of “Glinda, the Good Witch.”
