Paige Spiranac opened up about her unfortunate photo leak

On a recent episode of her podcast “Playing-A-Round,” former golfer and current analyst Paige Spiranac discussed a very private moment.

She remembered the time one of her ex-boyfriends sent a nude photo of her to his friends. The photo was also passed on to a few other people.

Unfortunately, the picture eventually made its way to social media, leading to harassment from the masses on multiple platforms. Spiranac even revealed that she had received death threats.

Here's what she said about Golf Magic:

“It was horrible just getting these random messages from people you don't know and they saw you so vulnerable. It was disgusting,” Spiranac said. I woke up every day, looked at my phone and asked myself, 'Am I going to be on TMZ today?' Am I going to be here, am I going to be there?'”

She said the constant stress was the worst.

“That was the worst,” she said. “I was constantly stressing that someone was going to see it, someone was going to get it and it was going to come out. Besides, that was a picture. I don't know what else he had or what he would release. If he did it once, he could do it again and again.”

Luckily, she regained her confidence and finally found peace after posing for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.

“I felt so empowered and I thought, 'Okay, if I'm going to do this, I'm going to do it on my terms,' and I took it back, I took my body back,” she said after the shoot a few years ago.
