Afghanistan star Rashid Khan gets married, video from wedding venue goes viral




Afghan star spinner Rashid Khan, one of the best spinners of today, tied the knot when he got married on October 3. Rashid got married in the Afghan capital, Kabul, and the wedding reception videos took social media by storm. The Afghan star, widely touted as the world's No. 1 T20I spinner, celebrated his wedding according to Pashtun customs. While many cricketers from the Afghanistan national cricket team attended his wedding, the pictures and videos from his wedding venue created a huge stir on social media.

Many people were seen walking around with weapons outside the hotel where Rashid's wedding took place. Here is the video:

Many Afghan stars took to social media to greet Rashid. Mohammad Nabi, one of the veterans on the Afghanistan team, was among the first to congratulate Rashid on the next step in his life.

“Congratulations to the one and only King Khan, Rashid Khan, on your wedding! I wish you a life full of love, happiness and success. @rashidkhan_19,” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Rashid remains one of the best cricketers of this generation, especially in T20I cricket. He holds several records including fastest bowler to 50 and 100 wickets. In the past, Rashid was also ranked as the No. 1 bowler in the ICC T20I rankings.
