Kirk Cousins: There are a lot of things to fix

The Falcons are 2-2 after Sunday's win over the Saints, but they're not winning quite the way you'd expect.

The signing of Kirk Cousins was supposed to give the offense a boost, but the Falcons failed to score a touchdown on that side of the ball and cruised to a 26-24 win powered by defense and special teams. They were able to score the game-winning field goal — a pass interference penalty against New Orleans provided a boost — but Cousins made it clear the team isn't happy with the development on that side of the ball.

“There are many things repair. . . . It's such a results-oriented league. “So getting a win is a big deal, but you never really stop analyzing the performance and thinking about how you can get better,” Cousins said via the team’s website.

It's always better to put things right after a win than after a loss. That's why Cousins and the Falcons can take solace in the fact that, despite not being the team they hoped they would be in the first month of the season, they are 2-2.
