Ant crawls in laptop screen confusing internet, video goes viral

An ant is trapped in the laptop screen.

A bizarre video of an ant crawling into a laptop screen has gone viral on social media. The clip, shared by a user named Aditya, has sparked widespread amusement and confusion. In the video, Aditya can be seen pointing at the ant trapped in his laptop screen. He moves his finger across the screen to show that the insect is inside.

“This ant invaded my laptop screen!” Aditya wrote in the caption.

The unusual sight left many onlookers amazed and wondering how the ant ended up there. One user, Akash Manohar, suggested that it could have been an ant egg that hatched due to the heat generated by the laptop. However, Aditya dismissed this theory and stated that he has owned the device for four years and believes that the ant entered through a port or hardware cavity.

Social media users reacted humorously, calling it a “free dynamic wallpaper” and joking about bugs in devices. Several others reported their own experiences with insects invading electronic devices.

“Two years ago these ants ate my entire motherboard,” one person shared, while another said, “New fear unleashed.”

“Most likely it didn’t make it into the screen. This insect is likely an egg that was in the screen during manufacturing. The heat generated from using the laptop helped him hatch. I had the same issue around 2020 and had to argue with Apple Support in India to get the screen replaced for free. They tried to blame me lol,” another user commented.

“This is a production problem. Poor hygiene at the production site is the problem. I've experienced this several times with my Macs. Wait for the insect to get under the bezel, then press the screen there and it will die. “That’s it.” “The only solution unless you replace the screen,” one user advised.

“I've heard websites and code are buggy, but this is next level,” a third person quipped.
