Eminem's daughter Hailie Jade will never watch another of his music videos again

Eminem may have a long list of iconic tracks and videos to his name, but his daughter refuses to watch any of them ever again.

Hailie Jade has been the subject of much of the rapper's work over the years, with one of the most recent songs conveying a heartbreaking message to her in the event of his death.

The music video for “Temporary” was released last night (October 3) and features moments from Hailie's life, including Eminem crying on her wedding day.

But while this new release might be pretty sweet — there's even news that the rapper has become a grandpa — the “Somebody Save Me” video was too much for Hailie.

On her Just a little shady podcast, the 28-year-old said: “Speaking of things I watched last week that I guess I would call watched but I refused to watch again – the 'Somebody Save Me' music video is out and I have “I looked at it.” the thing.”

The emotional clip shows footage of her as a child while her father apologizes for not being there for her when she was little. He blames drug and alcohol abuse for her missing out on growing up.

“One more pill as I start to feel dizzy / Message to my daughters / I don't even deserve the title of father / Hailie, I'm so sorry / I know I wasn't there for your first guitar concert,” Eminem raps.

“Didn’t walk you down the aisle / Missed the birth of your first child / Your first podcast, look down, sweetie.”

Hailie also commented on “Temporary” following its release on the new album. The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grace) album in July.

She was close to tears and said it made her realize “how bad things were.”

“But now, as an adult, it's so scary to think about in hindsight and I think that's why I get emotional,” she said. “I will say, if you’ve ever lost an addict or a loved one, I feel for you.”

During the track, the father of three tries to calm her down by telling her that life after his death will be difficult but okay.

At the beginning of the song we hear an old recording of a conversation between the two of them when she was a child.

The intro says: “A lot of people ask me: Am I afraid of death? The truth is, I think what scares me the most is not being able to say everything.”

“I want to tell you when I'm no longer here. So this song is for Hailie, for the day that day comes. Where is Hailie? Where is she? That's not Hailie. Who is it?”

“It's a monster.”

In the song he then raps, “Take care of Eleana, Stevie and Uncle Nate / And, sweetie, be strong; I know I was your rock and still am / Saying goodbye just isn't always easy / Why are you crying? Just stop / Hailie, baby, dry your eyes, this isn't forever.
