Bandai Namco responds to Dragon Ball: Sparking! No leaks with takedowns and shady eyes

The Dragon Ball: Sparks! A week before the official release date, there were no more leaks – and Bandai Namco may have responded in the only way possible: with humiliation and shady looks.

It appears that someone got hold of a copy of the game early and, as is common practice on the internet, started streaming the game. It didn't take long for Bandai Namco to destroy this stream from orbit, but of course the internet noticed and never forgot it.

Since then, Bandai Namco has worked to close more leaks, but the company is currently facing an uphill battle. And in a tweet responding to the leaks, Bandai Namco made it clear that it is keeping an eye on the internet. If you're paying attention to spoilers, now might be the time to batten down the hatches.

Dragon Ball: Sparks! Zero is one of IGN's most anticipated games, coming later in 2024. It is a true continuation of the Budokai Tenkaichi series, which has been largely dormant since the release of Budokai Tenkaichi 3 on the PlayStation 2 in 2007. We already know a lot about the game, much of which is featured in Dragon Ball Sparking! covered by IGN! No preview, and we recently had the opportunity to speak with producer Jun Furutani to get more insight into development and Bandai Namco's plans for the future.
