This interview also discusses that the adjustments will be similar to the “John Wick“Saga and the film”District 9' by Neill Blomkamp in terms of style as well as the possibility of making it a mix of live action and animation.

The “Skibidi Toilet” shorts are videos made with Source Filmmakera Valve software dedicated to the creation of animated films using assets related to the Source engine. There is no mention of whether this adaptation would require the approval of Gabe Newell's company, since the “official” channel's YouTube videos use elements of that company's video games.

What is “Skibidi toilet” about?

In February 2023, Alexey Gerasimov, better known by his pseudonym, was born DaFuq!? Boom!uploaded a short video of a singing video game character whose head emerges from a toilet to the YouTube channel of the same name. This first video went viral, prompting Gerasimov to continue uploading videos with similar humorous and surreal themes, although over time they were revealed to follow a peculiar coherent plot.

Little by little, a surprisingly complex plot was revealed in these videos, telling the invasion of the Skibidi toilets, which are animated toilets with singing human heads. One way to kill them is to flush the chain.

With each successive video, the conflict escalates, and what initially appears to be arrests and clandestine video-by-video operations eventually leads to large and numerous skirmishes and open war with skibidi toilets and gigantic “cameramen” who, with their violence, destroy entire parts to ravage cities.

A big part of the merit of these videos and their positive reception lies in how well they were produced. The construction of the environments and the animation of the characters are good, which speaks volumes about Gerasimov's skills as a 3D artist and filmmaker
