Kristen Bell has revealed what her husband thinks of her on-screen spark with Adam Brody Nobody wants that.

The newly released Netflix series follows an unlikely romance between Joanne (Bell), a series regular who over-shares about her daring love life on the podcast she hosts with her sister, and Noah (Brody), a progressive rabbi who has just come out about a long-term relationship.

Fans are loving the chemistry between Bell and Brody in Erin Foster's culture-clash romcom. A scene in which they share their first kiss sparked strong reactions from viewers.

In conversation with E! NewsBell shared what she Parenthood Actor and husband Dax Shepard, whom she met at a dinner party with friends in 2007 and married in 2013, was thinking about the show's steamier scenes.

“Even I can agree that when I watch it, I say to myself, 'Wow, that's hot,'” she said. “My husband said the same thing. Like, when he watched the first episode, he thought, 'Oh my God, I want you to kiss him so bad.'”

On how the chemistry between her and Brody was so compelling, Bell explained: “I think there's a math to it. You have two actors who know how to stare stupidly into each other's eyes, and you have to have the confidence to expand on that and really feel the anticipation before the kiss – which I think is really important.”

She added: “Whether or not people want to see you get together with someone is a bullshit question and we just have lightning in a bottle.”

The Veronica Mars Star previously told People What interested you about the work? Nobody wants that.

“I liked it so much because it felt like a very modern take on romance novels and the characters aren't 22, they're about 38,” she said.

“It's about everything from the dangers of dating apps to more serious topics like what it means for people from different backgrounds and different perspectives on life to bridge those differences in the name of love.”

Nobody wants that is based on Foster's real life, with Brody's character Noah being inspired by her husband, who is the son of Jewish-Russian immigrants.

“We don’t have similar circumstances,” she continued The world's first podcast, which She hosts together with her sister Sara.

“He came from a much more traditional place. I came from a somewhat unconventional place. When we met, we asked ourselves, “How is this going to work?”

In their four-star review for The IndependentKatie Rosseinsky wrote: “Fans of The good place I already know that Bell is an irresistible comic actress, and she brings an appealing mix of chaotic energy and vulnerability to Joanne… Brody also slips effortlessly into the role of the leading man of a romantic comedy; one wonders why he hasn't done this more often.

“The whole thing is an entertaining mix of romantic escapism and sometimes biting realism. Joanne and Noah are a couple you want to root for. I feel like the title of the show won’t be a self-fulfilling prophecy.”

All 10 episodes of Nobody wants that are now available on Netflix.
