East Point police are asking the public for help solving a man's murder

EAST POINT, Georgia. – East Point police are asking for the public's help in finding out who is responsible for a deadly shooting earlier this week.

The shooting happened just after 5:50 a.m. Monday at a home in the 5600 block of Laurel Ridge Drive.

When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered that Chravis N. Shaw had been shot multiple times. He could not survive his injuries.

Investigators said they learned a man was at Shaw's home at the time of the shooting and are asking the public for help identifying him.

A reward of up to $2,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
