Milpitas woman was arrested after attacking an 83-year-old woman with a knife sharpener

PAJARO – The Monterey County Sheriff's Office has arrested a 37-year-old Milpitas woman after she allegedly violently attacked an 83-year-old woman in her home.

According to the sheriff's office, a man called 911 shortly before 1 p.m. Wednesday and reported that his neighbor was bleeding after the attack. The man reportedly heard his neighbor's screams and went to investigate. According to the agency, the man inside the Florence Avenue home allegedly saw a woman repeatedly hitting her neighbor in the head with a knife sharpener. The neighbor reportedly pulled the attacker off his neighbor before calling police.
