Woodbridge man charged with road rage

On October 2, 2024, officers responded to a traffic incident at the intersection of Dale Boulevard and Richmond Highway where an 18-year-old male reported that another driver pointed a firearm at him. The defendant was located and arrested without incident, and the weapon was recovered following an attempt to dispose of it; No injuries were reported. Press release from Prince William Police:

Brandishing a firearm | Related to Road Rage – On Oct. 2 at 3:12 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Dale Blvd. and Richmond Highway. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate panning. The investigation revealed that the victim, an 18-year-old male, was driving on Richmond Highway. when he was involved in a traffic accident with the driver of another vehicle, who was identified as the defendant. While both vehicles stopped at the aforementioned intersection, the defendant pointed a firearm at the victim before the parties separated. While investigating the incident, officers received additional information to identify the defendant, who they located and arrested without incident. Officers also recovered the firearm believed to have been used in the incident after the defendant attempted to dispose of the weapon. No shots were fired during the incident and no injuries were reported. After the investigation, the defendant was identified as Jaime Arsenio GONZALES MORALESwas arrested.
