A man is facing multiple charges after a reported traffic incident in OKC

A man has been arrested in connection with a suspected road rage incident, according to Oklahoma City police.

Officers responded to a 7-Eleven near N Rockwell Avenue and Reno Avenue after receiving an assault report of a deadly weapon.

As police responded to the gas station, other officers received a 911 call several miles south about a crash with injuries.

Police determined it was a traffic accident involving a Dodge Charger.

Shell casings were found in a parking lot near Melrose Lane and N Council Road.

Police obtained camera footage from a business that was in front of the crime scene.

Police said footage showed a silver Dodge truck and a black Dodge truck arriving in the area around 6:45 p.m

A silver minivan was parked about 40 meters north of the trucks.

According to police, a man got out of the black truck, walked to the minivan and returned with a bag.

The driver of the black truck searched the bag and then left the area.

The minivan left around the same time, police said.

Police said the silver truck was left alone in the area with one person inside.

Shortly after 7 p.m., a black man wearing a gray hoodie ran up to the truck, pulled out a gun and shot through the driver's window at the person as he drove away.

Jaheim Butler was arrested and is charged with robbery, shooting with intent to kill and using a firearm in the commission of a felony.
