Davante Adams drops a hint about the Ravens

Davante Adams' last win as a Raiders came in Baltimore. He might be interested in returning.

Adams posted a photo of Edgar Allen Poe on his Instagram story. Poe is from Baltimore and has written, among other works The raven. This is why the local NFL is named the Ravens.

At this point, there is no reason to believe the Ravens want Adams. On Friday PFT LiveRodney Harrison made a compelling case for why the Raiders and Adams are a perfect fit. When the defense becomes stronger against the run, opportunities arise in the passing game – opportunities for Adams.

Plus, the Ravens are a real AFC shortlist contender.

None of that matters if the Ravens aren't interested. Perhaps in a somber midnight spectacle, GM Eric DeCosta will ponder, weak and exhausted, the possibility of pursuing a recent visitor who, along with his teammates, did more than just knock on the home team's bedroom door.

And maybe the Ravens will make an offer to the Raiders. Or maybe the Ravens will just say, “Not this time.”
