Classic pickup truck crashes into neighbor's house, causing gas leak – WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio

FAIRBORN – A driver drove into his neighbor's house Friday afternoon, causing a gas leak.

As reported on News Center 7 at 5 p.m., Around 3 p.m., Fairborn police and paramedics were called to Stewart Boulevard near West Dayton Yellow Springs because a car had rammed into a home.

Officials at the scene said the driver was attempting to return to his driveway when he lost control and crashed into his neighbor's garage and a gas line.

Residents of the home and neighborhood had to be evacuated while emergency crews worked to bring the gas leak under control.

The owners of the home the driver drove into will have to find another place to sleep tonight, fire officials said.

No injuries were reported.

The gas leak was brought under control and people were allowed to return to their homes.
