Second suspect arrested in suspected stabbing attack in downtown Eugene | Local

EUGENE, Ore. – A second suspect in an alleged stabbing that occurred in downtown Eugene last month was arrested Wednesday, according to the Eugene Police Department.

EPD officials said the victim contacted police at 2:47 a.m. on Sept. 9 and reported that he had been stabbed in the area of ​​the 600 block of East Broadway. According to police, the line was then disconnected and attempts to return the call were met with a busy signal. Police said the victim, described as a man in his 20s, eventually called police back and Eugene Springfield Fire responded to the area. According to police, the victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Police unsuccessfully searched the area with a K9 for a suspect, but Lane County Jail records show Nathanyl Michael Dylan Golt, 27, was arrested and jailed on Sept. 13. A second suspect, identified as Cory Allen Bryan, was arrested and jailed on October 2, according to jail records. Prison records show both men have been in custody since October 4, 2024.

Lane County District Court records show Golt is charged with first-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon and menacing. According to court records, Bryan is charged with first-degree assault.
