Jenna Ortega responds to the viral “Wednesday” doll trend by making them bald

If you are out there balding Wednesday dolls, stop it immediately! This comes from Jenna Ortega herself.

In anticipation of Wednesday Season 2 and the fact that it's finally October/spooky season, plush Wednesday dolls are on the shelves. The doll wears Wednesday's school outfit from the show and features her infamous bangs and signature pigtail hairstyle.

Well, fans have figured out that you can flip the bangs to make the doll bald and this is becoming a trend on social media as shown in the video below. But after Wednesday Addams aka Jenna Ortega caught wind of the trend, she commented on one of the videos saying, “Please don't.”

Several videos are making the rounds on TikTok about the bald Wednesday dolls, with some videos actually showing the opposite and undoing all the bald hairstyles, returning Wednesday to her braided glory. And one video even shows a note from store management asking customers to stop. The note read: “PLEASE DO NOT TWIST HAIR (we assume she is bald underneath). Thank you.”

Season 2 of Wednesday is set to air sometime in 2025, Netflix has confirmed. The first season of the show started on the streaming service in November 2022.
