LEAD Task Force Arrests Two People in Outlook Area Drug Raid | News

OUTLOOK, Wash. – Two men were arrested Monday, Sept. 30, in the Outlook area for alleged drug trafficking, including methamphetamine, cocaine and fentanyl, among others.

A news release from the Law Enforcement Against Drugs (LEAD) Task Force said officers, with the assistance of Washington State Patrol SWAT, executed a search warrant at a home in the 700 block of Arms Road.

Two men, a 26-year-old and a 47-year-old, both from Outlook, were subsequently arrested on drug trafficking charges. During investigation, it was observed that the couple was actively involved in drug trafficking in the area.

The search uncovered 75 pounds of methamphetamine, seven grams of cocaine, 20 grams of fentanyl, 65 pounds of illegal cannabis, five boxes of illegal vape pens and twelve firearms.

The LEAD Task Force is comprised of members from the Grandview Police Department, Sunnyside Police Department, Washington State Patrol, Washington State Gambling Commission, Union Gap Police Department, Yakima County Prosecutor's Office and Yakima County Sheriff's Office.

Officers from Yakima County Fire District 5, Sunnyside Fire Department, Yakima County Code Enforcement and the Pasco Police Department also assisted in the investigation.
