2024 WWE Bad Blood Predictions, Map, PPV Preview, Start Time, Matches, Expert Picks, Date, Location

Saturday's WWE Premium Live event “Bad Blood” is aptly named, as the card features several major grudge matches that have been building for months. Two of these matches will draw big attention: CM Punk faces Drew McIntyre at Hell in a Cell and Roman Reigns returns to team with Cody Rhodes against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu of the Bloodline.

Because of the issues between Punk and McIntyre, they have been arguing for months, with things becoming increasingly violent. It only made sense that her problems would finally land her in one of WWE's most infamous matches.

As for Reigns, he has been out of action since losing the WWE Undisputed Championship to Rhodes at WrestleMania. In Reigns' absence, Sikoa has taken control of the bloodline and turned the group into a pack of wild dogs. Reigns finally returned in recent weeks and attacked Sikoa and his bloodline, leading to a strained team with Rhodes.

Let's take a look at who the CBS Sports experts are picking to win each game on Saturday's card.

WWE Bad Blood 2024 predictions

CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre (Hell in a Cell): Both men have promised a significant amount of violence – and blood – in this case. McIntyre won their first meeting and Punk won the second. It really comes down to who “needs” the win more. Punk is a legend and could probably come out of this fine if he doesn't win the overall feud, but his return to WWE was such a big deal and then he was quickly shelved due to injury that it only makes sense for him to to out himself the winner in his first major act. Hopefully both men can deliver a game that matches the fans' anticipation while staying healthy. Pick: CM Punk wins – Brent Brookhouse (also Shakiel Mahjouri)

Cody Rhodes & Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu: Defeating WWE's two biggest stars of the last five years is exactly what the new bloodline needs heading into Survivor Series. There's enough to do against Reigns and Rhodes to give their opponents the nod on Saturday. The WrestleMania rivals have a difficult alliance against a team with better chemistry. Reigns also has Ring Rust to lean on, competing for the first time in six months. It is important that Fatu and Sikoa are well positioned ahead of a hypothetical bloodline-to-bloodline battle at the end of November. Give the nod to the new blood. Tip: Sikoa & Fatu win — Mahjouri

While I can certainly see the logic in the new Bloodline winning, Reigns' return to the ring for the first time since his title loss to Rhodes at WrestleMania certainly seems to tip things his team's way. The story of Sikoa's bloodline is less about domination and more about a new, out-of-control nature that will ultimately lead to instability. Losing in these moments – especially when it's Sikoa who gets the pin – advances the plot and gives Reigns his big comeback moment. Pick: Rhodes & Reigns win — Brookhouse

Women's World Championship – Liv Morgan (c) vs. Rhea Ripley: This is the toughest decision in the world and could really go either way. Raw has a major problem in the women's locker room. Who is ready to challenge the winner of this feud? Because I feel like the answer to that question is “nobody” right now, I think Morgan will put off the Ripley issues for another month or two, even if Dominik Mysterio is locked in a shark tank for the game. Pick: Liv Morgan wins — Brookhouse (also Mahjouri)

WWE Women's Championship – Nia Jax (c) vs. Bayley: WWE under the creative reign of Paul Levesque favors sustained title reigns. Occasionally there are heated discussions, such as the intercontinental title, but that is not the status quo. Jax is just two months into her WWE women's title reign and is once again taking on the woman who beat her for the title. Bayley won the title in a beautiful WrestleMania moment, but the reign that followed was not memorable. The dynamic between Jax and Tiffany Stratton is far more interesting and should take priority. Pick: Nia Jax wins — Mahjouri (also Brookhouse)

Damian Priest vs Finn Balor: The Judgment Day matches are some of the more difficult to judge. A lot of this depends on how long WWE wants to drag out the story. The villain faction has a permanent presence on Raw. In a way, this protects Balor and Co. from start-stop bookings. Priest exceeded all expectations as an interim world champion with a good title reign. It's important that he's booked heavily unless WWE wants to give up the time they've invested in him. Selection: Damian Priest wins — Mahjouri (also Brookhouse)
