“So let's just cut out the first part of the video where Jonathan and Michael first hug each other deeply and then talk about each other's lives – 'before' he gives me a big brother hug?” she wrote. “Lol, it's really unfortunate that people have nothing better to do than project onto others and intentionally make negative, misguided comments about parts of life that they have no real context to. It's sad. Sigh. But still, God bless you all.”

Some fans have commented that it looks like Ealy is greeting the Majors in the full video of the interaction, which shows him leaving a hug with the “Creed III” actor. Good and Majors' relationship has sparked controversy since the actors were first publicly linked in 2023.

Majors was convicted in December 2023 of assaulting his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari and sentenced to a 52-week personal domestic violence intervention program. Good's fans have been worried about her well-being since she started dating the majors and claimed she might be working with him for PR reasons, but the actress told The Washington Post in a recent interview that she's in love and happy and knows how to make decisions her own.

“I have worked all my life. I have been taking care of my family since I was young. I don't need to be paid. The little pride in me thinks, 'You're all crazy crazy,'” Good says. “I'm not a 20-year-old girl. I've lived a few lives. I appreciate concern when it is genuine. But I also think: “I have a mom.” I have a big sister. I have very, very close friends and family who don't care about me. I'm doing well.'”

“I know Jonathan makes me very happy,” she added. “And I love him very much and I feel very, very loved by him. And I'm grateful even for the terrible things we've experienced. I don't wish that on him. But I think it created something different and special for us and I'm grateful for that. It's more important to me to protect him because I've been in this business for 30 years. He has been working as an actor for nine years. It's a culture shock for him. I’m also thankful for the timing God gave us and the opportunity to be there.”
