A two-vehicle accident sends 6 people to the hospital in Lucas Co.

LUCAS COUNTY, Ohio (WTVG) – Six people were hospitalized in unknown conditions in Lucas County Friday evening, according to officials with the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP).

OSHP responded to the scene at the intersection of Rialto Drive and Corduroy Road just before 11 p.m. Friday. Officers told 13 Action News a gray pickup truck was traveling south on Rialto Drive when they failed to stop at a stop sign.

The gray pickup then crashed into a white truck traveling east on Corduroy Road, causing both vehicles to leave the roadway, police said. The gray pickup then crashed into a porch and two parked vehicles, OSHP says.

There were three occupants in both vehicles, and all six people involved were transported to the hospital under unknown conditions. The police were also unable to provide any information about the age or gender of the inmates.

The crash is still under investigation.
