NYPD looking for man accused of groping woman on New York subway


BROOKLYN, NY – Police are searching for a man who allegedly groped a woman as she exited the Metropolitan Avenue subway station in Williamsburg on Saturday afternoon.

The incident occurred around 1:45 p.m. on Sept. 28 when a 25-year-old woman reported that an unknown man approached her from behind and grabbed her buttocks before fleeing north on Lorimer Street. No injuries were reported in the incident.

The suspect is described as male, between 20 and 25 years old, with medium skin tone. He was last seen wearing a maroon hoodie with an American Eagle logo, black pants and sneakers.

The investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
