Rajendra Prasad's old speech goes viral

Senior actor and former hero Rajendra Prasad today faced a major shock as his 39-year-old daughter Gayatri succumbed to a heart attack. At a time when the actor is mourning the loss, his previous speech at a film event where he talked about the importance of a daughter in a man's life is going viral for obvious reasons.

Rajendra Prasad had a complicated relationship with his daughter Gayatri, especially after she entered into a love marriage against his wishes. However, in recent years they reconciled and he often expressed deep emotional attachments to her.

“I lost my mother when I was 10 years old. Any man who grew up without a mother usually sees his mother in his daughter,” Rajendra Prasad said back in 2018 at the pre-release event of the film Bewarse.

Rajendra Prasad quoted a song from the film that comes up after the actor's on-screen character witnesses the death of his daughter and revealed the same.

“After I went home, although I didn't speak to my daughter because she had married against my will, I let her listen to this song almost four times,” he said at the time. This video is currently going viral and many are saying that RP has now lost two mothers.
