Badgers news: Braedyn Locke breaks down his performance and looks ahead to Week 6

After a 38-21 loss to the No. 11 USC Trojans, the Wisconsin Badgers must face the Purdue Boilermakers in Week 6 to bounce back and improve to 3-2.

Last week it was a tale of two halves, with Wisconsin starting fast before faltering in the second half where they were outscored 28-0, ultimately leading to defeat.

Ahead of this week, quarterback Braedyn Locke spoke to reporters, breaking down his Week 5 performance and looking ahead to this weekend's matchup against Purdue.

As Badgers head coach Luke Fickell noted after the game, Locke felt the first half was exactly what Wisconsin wanted to see from the offense, but the goal now was to be consistent through four quarters.

That means the running game and passing attack must be complementary, which the Badgers tried to do in Week 5 with some explosive plays early in the game.

Now they will look to put it all together against the Purdue Boilermakers, who have struggled this season and are 1-3 in the contest, with their lone win coming against Indiana State.
