A chilling video shows a TikTok star jokingly practicing his mug shot a year before his arrest for murder

A man charged with murder last year posted a video of himself jokingly practicing his mugshot.

NBC reports that Terryon Thomas, who goes by the name “Mr. Prada” was arrested in Dallas, Texas, on October 1 after police in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, issued a warrant for his arrest.

The TikToker has been accused and charged with killing therapist William Nicholas Abraham, who was found dead and wrapped in a tarp on the side of the road in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana on September 29th.

Police said the 69-year-old died as a result of blunt force trauma and that a warrant was issued for Thomas' arrest because he failed to obey officers during a traffic stop.

His arrest warrant said the car he was driving at the time had been reported stolen.

The East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office claims blood and weapons, including sharp objects, were found in Thomas' home, and the day before his body was found, surveillance footage showed Abraham entering the building where Thomas' apartment was located , been seen.

The affidavit says witnesses saw Thomas dragging a tarp down the building's stairs and putting it in a car that belonged to Abraham.

NBC has reported that the sheriff's office said there was “no evidence that Thomas was a customer of Abraham's” and that an investigation was underway to examine the relationship between the two.

During his time as a TikToker, Thomas had gained over four million followers and was criticized for copying other YouTubers' videos.

In another video he made, released last year, he posed as if a mug shot was being taken of him.

The video included the text: “I'm practicing for my mugshot because this could be the year someone meets God if they piss me off too much.”

While he was originally arrested in Dallas for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, resisting an officer and aggravated criminal damage to property, he is now charged with second-degree murder and obstruction of justice.

“I appreciate the work of the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office, the Baton Rouge Police Department, the U.S. Marshal's Service and everyone else involved,” Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Sid Gautreaux said in a statement following Thomas' arrest.

“This is an ongoing investigation which will take some time to gather further evidence. I hope this arrest will bring some closure and reassurance to friends and family.”

“I am incredibly proud of the TPSO team and the public for working together so quickly to bring this compelling conclusion to the case.”

“We are confident that EBRSO’s continued work will find the answers that many of us would like to have in the future, and we are always ready to support these efforts.”

Thomas is expected to be extradited back to Louisiana.
