Saka stars as Arsenal bounce back to beat Saints 3-1

Sports editorial team, October 5th (EFE). – Bukayo Saka scored one goal and assisted two as Arsenal came from behind to beat Southampton 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

After a goalless first half, the promoted side, who had not won since returning to the top flight and had lost six of their seven games, took the lead in the 55th minute through Cameron Archer.

But just a few moments later Arsenal were back on level terms when Saka found the in-form Kai Havertz, who fired the ball into the net off the post.

Ten minutes later, Gabriel Martinelli scored from a cross from Saka and gave the home team the lead.

Saka secured the three points with a clean right-footed shot in the final stages and remained level on points with Manchester City.

Southampton, on the other hand, is still looking for its first win of the season and remains in 19th place. EFE
