JOKER: FOLIE À DEUX Spoiler: Set video resurfaced in the spotlight Original – even more shocking

If you haven't seen it yet Joker: Folie à Deux Yes, Major spoiler consequences.

At the end of Todd Phillips' sequel, Arthur Fleck meets a violent end when he is stabbed to death by another Arkham inmate, having initially accepted responsibility for the crimes he committed in the first film by confessing during his trial .

It's a shocking, if seemingly inevitable, development – but Arthur's death was apparently destined to turn out very differently.

Just before returning to Arkham State Penitentiary to serve his sentence, Arthur meets with Lee Quinzel (Lady Gaga) about the now legendary “Joker Steps” and she seems to have done what her (former) idol couldn't by she has given up her old life behind her new “Harley Quinn” persona and embraces it fully.

However, it seems that Lee originally wanted to put an exclamation point on her transformation by killing Fleck herself.

In the resurfaced set video below, we see Quinn madly dancing and singing on the steps as the police close in around her. How she murders Fleck is not clear, but according to several sources, this was the original ending of the film. It's not clear why Warner Bros./Phillips decided to make the change, but it probably wasn't due to poor scene testing.

The studio allegedly I decided not to test this joker Sequel, which isn't actually all that surprising!
