Leak suggests Huawei HarmonyOS 4.4 will be available soon

There are rumors that Huawei HarmonyOS 4.4 will be available soon with brand new features and capabilities. Now a leak and some other input suggest that the company could introduce a new software version for its device before the big HarmonyOS NEXT.

Weibo tipster @BrotherRuiDigital says Huawei HarmonyOS 4.4 is coming. The software seems laggy but exceptional. It could become official in the next few weeks.

In response to the leak, some netizens said that Huawei may release this software as the final “HarmonyOS 4” version for its devices to make them compatible with the next major upgrade. Below the company will introduce HarmonyOS NEXT.

Some also said that Huawei might introduce this software system with the Nova 13 series. The high-end smartphone range is expected to launch later this month. These new models could ship with the HarmonyOS 4.4 operating system.

Huawei has not yet confirmed such details about a new software system. However, the company might roll out such a feature for its legacy devices after the public beta of HarmonyOS NEXT for eligible handsets. New HarmonyOS versions

A recently released public OTA beta for the AITO M5 and M7 smart car series hinted at the HarmonyOS 4.4 release. The changelog revealed that Super Home Screen 2.0, the new home screen layout and split-screen view of apps like Petal Maps, supports HarmonyOS 4.4 and later versions. Later the OEM adjusted it and mentioned 4.3.
