Police called to the incident in Hereford town center

The woman, who cannot be identified at this time, was seen in handcuffs being placed in the back of a police van on Commercial Road at around 4pm today (October 5).

The incident is said to have occurred near the Kings Fee pub.

Officers rushed to the busy city center street and arrested a woman as the police car parked outside London's Look hairdresser park.

West Mercia Police have been contacted for comment.

Shops on Commercial Road, including Kings Fee, remained open during the incident.

In an unrelated incident, a man was arrested in Hereford yesterday (October 4) after he was found to be carrying a bow and arrow. It is also understood his arrest took place on Commercial Road.

Police said they were called to Herefordshire and Ludlow College on Folly Lane after a report of a man carrying a bow and arrow.

He was soon found in the city center and arrested.
