Alex Pereira will be absolutely formidable when he steps into the octagon at UFC 307.

“Poatan” puts his light heavyweight title on the line for the third time this year against Khalil Rountree to cap Saturday’s pay-per-view card in Salt Lake City. After hitting the 205-pound mark at UFC 307's official weigh-in on Friday, Pereira stepped on the scale during a pre-fight meal and weighed in at a whopping 230 pounds – a video that originally appeared on Pereira's Instagram Stories.

Check out the champion's fight day weigh-in in the video below.

Pereira weighed 104.3 kilograms, which is equivalent to 229.9 pounds. The two-division title winner won the light heavyweight championship with a knockout over Jiri Prochazka at UFC 295 last November. He then beat Jamahal Hill and Prochazka for the second time at UFC 300 and UFC 303, respectively.
