Lil Woody's is the best burger in Washington state according to Reader's Digest

The chain has five locations in Seattle, including one in T-Mobile Park.

SEATTLE – Reader's Digest recently published a list of the best burgers available in every U.S. state, and its pick for Washington state comes from a chain restaurant in Seattle.

According to the magazine, Lil Woody's has the best burger in the state. According to its website, the chain has five locations in the greater Seattle area and one in Japan. Locals can find Lil Woody's in Ballard, Capitol Hill, Green Lake, T-Mobile Park and White Center.

“Lil Woody's works with local vendors to source the ingredients used at its Seattle locations. So you get hand-cut fries made with potatoes from Washington, handmade rolls from Tacoma, and beef from neighboring Oregon. The eponymous burger is simple and delicious: a quarter-pound patty topped with Tillamook cheddar, chopped onions, diced pickles, ketchup, and mayo. Take it a step further with the Big Woody, which contains the same ingredients as the Lil Woody, plus the addition of Hills bacon. Tomato slices and lettuce,” reads the Reader’s Digest blurb about Lil Woody’s.

In addition to its standard offering, Lil Woody's offers a different “Burger of the Week” with unique toppings. This week features the Beecher's Mac N Cheese Burger, served with Beecher's Mac and Cheese, Beecher's Jack Spice cheese, bacon, scallions and mayonnaise.
