A total of 19 people were arrested in a major gang raid in San Antonio, including four members of the Tren de Aragua gang.

The arrests were reported by KSAT, our sister station in San Antonio.

According to KSAT's report, the raid included the eviction of nearly 300 residential units. San Antonio Police Chief William McManus also said authorities plan similar arrests in other locations.

Tren de Aragua is a Venezuelan gang that traces its origins back to prisons in South America. But there are growing concerns about the gang's reported new presence on U.S. soil, according to a recent Associated Press report.

Earlier this week, KPRC 2's Bryce Newberry reported on search warrants that showed Houston police are investigating a possible connection between Jocelyn Nungaray's alleged killers and the Tren de Aragua gang.

KSAT contributed to this report.
