The country singer Garth Brooks (62), who is called a national singer in the USA, is accused of, among other things, sexual assault.

According to Reuters and other foreign media on the 3rd (local time), hair and makeup artist Jane Law (pseudonym) recently filed a complaint with the Los Angeles Superior Court demanding a jury trial and punitive damages, claiming she was sexually assaulted by Brooks in a Los Angeles hotel in 2019.

Jane Law said in the complaint that Brooks appeared before her unclothed on several occasions, groped her breasts or sent sexual messages during her beauty treatments.

He also argued that Brooks tried to blackmail him through a separate lawsuit. That Brooks filed suit last month in federal court in Mississippi under the name “John Doe,” demanding: “There is an extortionist who is trying to destroy my professional reputation through lies.” Please confirm that what a woman Jane Law says Brooks' claim is false.

Brooks, however, argued in his lawsuit at the time that Jane Law had threatened to sue him two months ago if he didn't give him millions of dollars and that Law's claims were completely untrue.

Brooks said filing a lawsuit under a pseudonym was a decision “for both families” and stressed that he trusts the system and is not afraid of the truth.
