EXO's Chanyeol and Goblin's Punch's Stay With Me Become the First K-Drama OST Music Video to Cross the 500 Million Mark

The hit OST of Guardian: The Lonely and Great God, Stay With Me by Chanyeol and Punch by EXO is the first ever OST music video to cross the 500 million mark. The song remains one of the most popular K-drama OSTs.

On October 6, 2024, it was announced that the music video of EXO's Chanyeol and Punch's legendary original soundtrack (OST) Stay With Me by Gong Yoo and Kim Go Eun's Goblin reached over 500 million views this morning at 11:40 a.m. KST on YouTube. This makes it the first Korean drama OST music video to achieve this feat.

The music video of Stay With Me was released on December 3, 2016 and after almost 7 years and 10 months, the music video reached the 500 million mark on YouTube. The title remains one of the most iconic OSTs ever released.

Just like the cult fantasy K-drama Guardian: The Lonely and Great God, also known as Goblin, Stay With Me won many hearts.

“Stay With Me” also debuted at number one on Mnet and number 2 on Genie, and peaked at number 10 on the Melon chart. Chanyeol ranked at the top of the Melon Real Time Charts shortly after the OST's release, while Stay With Me charted at number 2.

Additionally, “Stay With Me” reached No. 3 on the Billboard US World Digital Songs and No. 5 on the Spotify Global Viral 50 chart.

Chanyeol is a popular K-pop rapper, singer, songwriter and member of the renowned boy band EXO. He also starred in popular K-dramas such as “Memories of the Alhambra,” “Secret Queen Makers,” and “Missing 9.” The EXO member also starred in the films “So I Married an Anti-Fan” and “The Box.”

Chanyeol was last seen as Koo Gi Ho in the mystery crime K-drama “The Frog” with Go Min Si and Kim Yoon Seok.

In addition, Chanyeol celebrated his solo debut on August 28, 2024 with his first mini-album “Black Out” as well as a fascinating music video for the title song of the same name.
