New Delhi/IBNS: A man was arrested for beating up a street dweller in Delhi after he allegedly asked him not to urinate in public.

The incident took place in Model Town in north Delhi on Friday and was caught on CCTV cameras.

The video showed the defendant getting out of a two-wheeler and approaching a man sleeping on the sidewalk.

He then woke the man up and started beating him with a stick while two of his friends waited on the bike.

After attacking him for about 20 seconds, the defendant began to retreat but then returned and struck him for another 20 seconds. He then fled the spot with his friends on his bicycle.

Police launched an investigation after analyzing video surveillance and discovered that the accused, Arier, worked as a servant at a house in the same area.

On Thursday, he was urinating outdoors near a park when victim Ramfal, who also worked at a nearby shop, asked him not to urinate.

The two then got into an argument over the incident.

A day later, Aryan returned with his friends and attacked Ramfal.

He was later granted bail.
