Like any other sport, there are two types of play Pickleball. One is the orthodox or OG method and the other is the unorthodox method, also known as the slick shots. While there are many different shootings and rallies that go viral on social media, Riley NewmanThe combination of fake body bags from 2023 is one of the most beautiful shots of all time.

Riley Newman, born and raised on Whidbey Island, Washington, currently lives in Phoenix, AZ. He is one of the most successful players in the world PPA tour.

In pickleball, a fake-out shot refers to a deceptive shot or move by a player with the intent of causing their opponents to anticipate a different shot or move. Typically, a player shows that he is going to hit the ball in a certain direction before making a completely different shot.

Newman showed in 2023 that the wrong shot, when done correctly, can unnerve any opponent. A fake-out shot can be a strategic technique used to cause confusion and gain an advantage during a rally on the pickleball court.

The best way to sell a fake shot is to not keep your opponent guessing what's coming next. Once a particular player sells the dummy, it becomes easy to perform the fake out as the opponent is deceived. A player needs good timing, coordination and control to execute the fake out.

However, a pro tip is that an athlete needs to practice this shot many times to get a feel for perfection, otherwise unforced errors can occur. Instead of being gimmicky, the shot could look like a stupid move if not done correctly.
