The result of the strict elimination is leaked ahead of the show tonight as fans express their relief: 'Thank God'

Things continue strictly tonight (Sunday October 5) and viewers will find out who the next celebrity to leave the show will be.

However, the result of tonight's show has already leaked online – and fans seem pretty happy.

What happened on Strictly last night?

In last night's edition of Strictly, the celebrities and their dancing couples competed against the film night.

The celebrities and their partners dressed up as well-known film characters and danced to famous film tunes.

Tasha Ghouri and Aljaz Skorjanec topped the leaderboard with 34 points, following their routine to Barbie's “What Was I Made For?”

Sarah Hadland and Vito Coppola, Shayne Ward and Nancy Xu, and Dr. Punam Krishan and Gorka Marquez all scored 33 points.

Meanwhile, at the other end of the leaderboard, Toyah Willcox and Neil Jones only managed 15 points. They performed a samba to “Poor Unfortunate Souls” from “The Little Mermaid.”

Paul Merson and Karen Hauer didn't fare much better, scoring 18 points for their cha-cha-cha to the Magnificent Seven.

There are strict results leaks ahead of tonight

Since the results show was pre-recorded, the dance-off results were leaked online today. We won't reveal the results here.

In response to the leak, fans of the show seemed relieved at who will apparently be leaving.

“Thank God for that,” one fan tweeted.

“Absolutely the right result this week,” said another.

“The right result. It was the right time for this couple to go home sad,” wrote a third.

“I would like to thank the British public for getting it right for once,” said another.

The results will be officially announced on the results show this evening.

Fans cry over Dr. Punam's Bollywood-inspired dance

On last night's show, Dr. Punam and Gorka Bole Chudiyan from the Bollywood film “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham” perform a couple's choice routine.

In the interview before the dance, Dr. Punam: “Growing up, I never saw Indian girls dancing on mainstream television.

“So to now be able to perform an Indian dance on a platform like Strictly is huge.”

Viewers at home were overwhelmed by the performance, with many admitting they were moved to tears.

“I have tears in my eyes. The Bollywood inspired dance of Punam and Gorka was wonderful. It was fabulous,” one fan tweeted.

“Tears of joy…amazing…Bollywood!!” another said.

“I have tears in my eyes, that was beautiful,” wrote a third.
