Frankenmuth's newest indoor water park is scheduled to open this fall. An attorney says no lights or sirens were on in a police-involved crash in Warren that killed two people, and police in Taylor say a 13-year-old fatally shot her sister over a note about dishwashing stabbed the toilet: Here are the top stories from the week in review on FOX 2.

2. Lawyer: In an accident that killed two people, Warren's police car was speeding without lights or sirens Family members of two men killed when they were struck by a Warren police SUV early Monday morning have hired an attorney who says videos show the officers were speeding and had no lights on Sirens turned on when they hit her. Fieger Law was hired as the law firm to represent Cedric Hayden, 34, and his friend DeJuan Pettis, 33. The two friends were killed around 5 a.m. in Warren when a Warren police SUV rammed the Dodge Durango they were riding in.

3. Best friends killed in Warren PD crash, officers still critical A horrific crash in Warren involved a police vehicle and an SUV – both crushed by the sudden impact of the crash. Around 5 a.m. on Sept. 30, a Warren police SUV crashed into a white Dodge Durango on Schoenherr Road. The front of the Warren Police SUV was badly crumpled, while the T-shaped Durango was on its side with the passenger side completely smashed.

4. Taylor police: Note about toilet flushing led to 13-year-old fatally stabbing her sister Police say “a simple tip about flushing the toilet” sparked an argument between sisters that escalated into the 13-year-old fatally stabbing her 7-year-old sibling with two knives. The incident occurred after 1 p.m. on September 28 at a home on Banner Avenue in Taylor, near Telegraph Road.

5. Missing Na'Ziyah Harris: Man charged with murder and sexual assault of Detroit teen More than nine months after the disappearance of Na'Ziyah Harris from Detroit, a suspect is charged with sexually assaulting and murdering the girl. Jarvis Butts, 41, of Highland Park, is charged with first-degree premeditated murder, second-degree criminal sexual conduct and sexually abusive material for Harris' murder, Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy announced Thursday.

6. Sterling Heights woman finds alligator in her driveway A Sterling Heights woman left her home to find an alligator – prompting the first call of its kind to police.

“I see neighbors standing here, looking under my car and taking photos,” said Marysoul Mousahurawi. “I’m like, okay, what’s going on here?”

7. A brawl breaks out outside Donald Trump's rally at Saginaw Valley State When former President Donald Trump landed in Michigan to rally supporters, some of those not attending his campaign rally got into a fight outside the facility. Trump spoke Thursday at the Ryder Center at Saginaw Valley State University during a late afternoon campaign stop in the battleground state. But before Trump even arrived, a fight broke out between at least three men wearing T-shirts and hats that read “Make America Great Again.”

8. Major Detroit police drug raid seizes cocaine, fentanyl and guns on the east side Detroit police announced a major drug bust on the city's east side Tuesday. The DPD drug investigation unit arrested a suspect and confiscated fentanyl, cocaine and two firearms during the operation, it announced on Thursday. The bust came during a search warrant. conducted in the 3300 block of E. Willis Street, east of McDougall and west of Moran Street.

9. 2 dead in wrong-way driver accident on the M10 in Southfield A wrong-way driver and a second driver were killed in an accident on the M10 near Lahser on September 29th. Shortly after 5pm, police were called to the northbound lane of The Lodge (M10) near Lahser about a serious accident. Police said a 79-year-old man was driving the wrong way when he hit another 74-year-old man.

10. Michigan's New Minimum Wage: How Much Will Rates Rise Each Year? Michigan's new minimum wage will rise by more than $2 next year as part of two separate hikes – one in January and another in February. It's a significant increase in Michigan's minimum hourly wage and comes amid a recent court ruling that upended rules about how much workers should be paid in the state.
