Recently, we came across an old video of Aishwarya Rai from the Zee Cine Awards. The diva wore a shimmering dress in shades of blue with noodle straps and a body-hugging silhouette. She left her hair down and gave a few strokes over her face. Aishwarya gracefully walked down the stairs looking like an angel and gave a short speech. The actress mentioned that she was unable to attend the awards ceremony last year, where she was honored twice.

Aishwarya took the opportunity to personally thank the audience and mentioned that she received the awards for it. She also warmly thanked the organizers of the award ceremony. Aishwarya then announced the name of the celebrity who won the Fresh Face of the Year award and called Kareena Kapoor on stage.

In the next section of the video, Kareena Kapoor was seen walking towards the stage to accept the award. However, when she accepted the award, she didn't seem too pleased, as evidenced by her body language. Bebo seemed upset and almost snatched the microphone after she snatched the award from the presenter, Aishwarya's hand. In her acceptance speech, Kareena said:

“I think I would like to thank Lux and Zee Cine Awards for giving me this honor, thank you very much.”

Soon after the old video surfaced on the internet, netizens were shocked to see Kareena's behavior towards Aishwarya. A section of netizens pointed out that Kareena was upset because she lost the Best Debut award to Ameesha Patel, that too for a film she rejected. Meanwhile, some social media users also praised Aishwarya for her elegance, grace and poise.

When Kareena Kapoor made ugly comments about Ameesha Patel for her role in KNPH

Talking about Kareena Kapoor's rivalry with Ameesha Patel, the former created a stir in the entertainment industry at the time with her bold remarks. In an interview with Filmfare in 2002, Kareena spoke about not being a part of the hit film. KNPHand shared that she was glad she didn't do the film. She added that Ameesha wasn't even given five-second shots in the film and that she didn't look beautiful as she had pimples and bags under her eyes. In Bebo's words:

“The film was made for Hrithik. His father spent five hours on every picture and close-up of him, while for Ameesha it took him less than five seconds. There are points in the film where she has pimples and bags under her eyes. She just doesn't look pretty, but every shot of him was a dream. If I had been in the film I definitely would have gotten a better offer, but I still feel like the attention would have been divided between us. That’s why I’m glad I didn’t do the film.”
