Although he did not mention the name of the film, he wrote: “The other three personalities who sat with you won the elections, but you lost the deposit; that's the difference. You caused a loss of Rs 1 Crore on my set by leaving without informing us! What was the reason?! #Justasking!!! You promised to call me but you didn’t!!”

Kumar followed up with another tweet elaborating on the incident.

He explained: “This happened on October 30, 2024. The entire cast and crew, including almost 1000 young artists, were stunned. It was a 4-day schedule for him, but he left without a word after receiving a call from another production! We had no choice but to cancel the shoot, which resulted in a huge loss.”

Kumar and Prakash Raj had previously worked together on Enemy, which released in 2021. So far, Prakash Raj has not responded to the allegations.

On the work front, the actor will next be seen in Pushpa 2: The Rule and Game Changer co-starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani.
